Have we made progress on the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema downtown?

It appears those wanting the much-talked about project downtown may have some good news. As first reported about on myopenforum.com, there is an item on bidclerk.com (the construction search engine) calling for bids for "new construction, site work" for "Restaurant, Theaters / Auditoriums."
The description of the project: Site work and new construction of a restaurant / theater in Midland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a restaurant / theater to include a kitchen, movie screens, seating, storage space, associated parking and landscaping.

Here is the link.

A map of the site has the location around "A" Street and Indiana, right behind the MISD Adminstration Building and not too far away from the The Bar.

We were among the first to talk about Alamo Drafthouse and downtown. Here are other posts.
