Early voting for the Hospital bond started today. As of 3:20 p.m., there were around 700 who have voted. I expect that number will finish around 800-850, which smashes the 527 who voted on the first day of the Midland College bond.
Higher turnout, help our hurt?

Also we know as of this afternoon, the highest voting precinct is 207. Third is 206. Both I am calling old Midland. Both are also traditional high turnout locations. The rest of the top 6 or 7 come from the 400s (404 and 403 - north Midland south of Loop 250). Also 405 (around Lee High School) and 409 (Green Tree). 107 (around Manor Park) has also been active.

Other notes to help you follow the early voting portion of our contest. Midland College had 4,869 early voters en route to a blowout victory. ... Currently, the number of people voting at the elections office is between three and four times the number of people voting at the hospital.

I voted at the hospital and the lack of parking and the fact the polling place is in the basement is a turn-off for the average convenience voter. If you have the misfortune of coming in the Ohio/Garfield Entrance you have a pretty good hike along a cone path, plus an elevator ride.

Hospital voters get a tour of the old facilities....on purpose?

Since I know the hospital layout pretty well, I took a shorter route out.
