I was a little surprised the commercial showed Tebow violently tackling his mother. Of course, no one in there right mind would accuse FoF of promoting violence against women, but there are those alarmists who would accuse them of it.

HAHAHA! I think :).....I'm no Aggie fan....just remembered that in that particular Christmas display the Aggie flag was ALWAYS in the scene....no matter what Santa and his elves were doing!

yeah, not to mention all the other puppies and cats and birds standing in line waiting for their turn with Santa. Sounds kind of like a nightmare to me. This guy is apparently one pretty brave Santa, though. I asked the guy at the mall if I could bring my pet snake (I was really just kidding - I don't have a snake) and he asked Santa who said that would be fine. Now I kind of wish I had a pet snake just for the event.

yeah, I wrote that brief. Kind of funny that we have a nation brief about Santa getting bitten by an alleged bobcat on the same day we have a brief about Santa posing with pets at the mall. I wonder if Santa's getting nervous ... I don't think my pups would bite him, but they would definitely give him a lick in the face.

Watching a baseball game: It's the ultimate father, son experience

The sun had finally popped out from behind the puffy clouds. The small crowd in the stands was slowly expanding, eventually growing to almost 100 spectators. On the field, the players were being introduced by the man in the press box, the one behind the microphone. Each received polite applause. Then the sun went behind another cloud, only to re-emerge a few minutes later. It would be that way most of the afternoon. But that was OK ... because it wasn't long before the umpire yelled, "Play ball!"
