I heard Stewart Dureen on the radio the other day, he works for the MRT. Someone was complaining to him about the Obit fonts, and he said MRT was making changes to the newspaper for cost cutting reasons & trying to reorganize in a more economic way.…
I don't know the font has actually changed. I like the look of the Obituaries. It lets them stand apart from the rest of the page, which I think is more respectful rather than disrespectful. I'm also pretty sure that the font choice is a money saver…
I hate the new font and look of the Obituaries in the MRT. It looks like advertising or some cheap tiny little town's newspaper's print. It is disrespectful. Why would a font be changed, especially for the obits? If it saves money for the MRT to use…
