Beat This Caption: Oprah opens wide

Maybe I'm weird this way, but I don't like to have my picture taken when I'm eating. Photos represent a single moment in time captured in permanence, and I'd just prefer that moment not being the one where I'm shoving a sauce-slathered pork rib down my gullet. I would imagine Oprah Winfrey, who's had a history of weight problems, could have the same hang-up, which is why I can't believe she didn't try to put the kibosh on this AP photo taken at the Texas State Fair last week by photograph… Continue

Protest is in such a sorry state these days. When my parents generation was in its teens and twenties, they tuned in, turned on, got naked, listened to the Doors ... and somehow, that actually got Nixon out of office and the troops back home.
