What do you miss about Midland? Well, if anything I spose... I miss Jumburrito's breakfast burrito's, Shakey's Pizza ( long gone I know ), and sigh... Taco Villa as much as I hate to admit it.

Fax me a Jumburrito..... I am an avid sports fan.. I love Midland Texas sports and I try to follow as much as I can.. Even in talking with friends in Colorado they have something to talk about when it comes to Midland/Odessa football...
I must say Midland sports makes me look good everytime..

Comment by Stumpy Dawg49 on June 20, 2009 at 6:08am - I just miss the dry climate. Plus you can see @ home. We now live in Springtown,Tx. 25 miles West of Ft.Worth. I am sick of the humidity & the trees. Ready to have a Midland address again.We go back & visit but it's not the same.

Comment by Mary Mitchell Rice on February 2, 2009 at 3:38pm - I miss Tampico's, the bright sunshine, and my many friends. I just plain miss Texas altogether. I haven't been back to Midland in 8 yrs.! I grew up there. Went to West Elementary, San Jacinto, and Greenwood. Waterbury, Ct. is a far cry from West Texas for sure. But I do like it here. I hope to be back for a visit in the early spring!

- We left Midland to arrive in Lumberton (Beaumont area) a week and a half before Hurricane Gustav and Ike. We had to evacuate two times. What I really REALLY miss is Carrumbas Mexican food and the hot, dry climate! My old bones are a creakin' here in SE Texas. I miss all of my dear friends.
