When I awaken to a brand new day, a brand new beginning, for the yesterday, the old, the past, are used up and gone. A brand new day, what does that entail, curtail, really mean to me, mean to you?
How many of us this morning, before ever getting out of bed, thanked God for being able to embrace this new morning? How many of us took the time to embrace the thinking part of us to really dwell in the depths of God's creation, meditation, and expectation of us all? What verbal applications of man can ever describe him? None now, none tomorrow. We cannot embrace his face in this physical state of decay we are currently abiding in. A brand new day, and I and you (if you are reading this) were blessed by our God to embrace it. How many in the past how many in the future (if anymore remain) will we take for granted. We humans place the wrong priority, the wrong worthiness, the wrong application to THINGS, POSSESSIONS, TEMPORARY SATISFACTION, YET IN THE END WE ARE LEFT UNSATISFIED, UNFULFILLED, TOTALLY ABANDONED BY OUR OWN DESIRES AND WANTS. WE SEEK OUR DESIRES AND WANTS, GOD KNOWS OUR NEEDS AND WILL DELIVER US FROM THE OTHER FLEETING ENDORSEMENTS.
When I awaken one day in his presence, what a glorious day that will be. No more night, for he is the light of the world and in him there is no darkness. In him there is no heartache, no abandonment, no disappointed unfilled expectations. In him is life, in him is all fulfillment. When I awaken, when you awaken, to that eternal realm, after this temporary physical life is over, what will we embrace? Will we be ready? We fool ourselves into thinking this life goes on for ever, when in reality it is over in a heartbeat, a breath away is eternity. Yet we get so wrapped up in this earth that watches a clock, that we overlook Gods realm which has no time. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, he is the great I AM, he is all he tells us he is. Thank you God for letting me awaken to this new day, and one day I pray I awaken to a new day with you in heaven forever. In his grace. Bob

How is this politics?

What ever happened to separation of church and state?

Religion DOES NOT equal politics.

While I might agree that Bob's musings may not belong on a forum for politics, I disagree with your desire to eliminate religion from political discourse. Religion may not "equal politics," but only because politics is the lesser pursuit. Religion is metanarrative, Postmodernism notwithstanding.
