Yes, the guy at 520-CURB will do a great job. He is probably self employed and has probably suffered from the recent recession. With having to provide his own Short Term Health Insurance and Medical Travel Insurance he has probably been a bit overwhelmed in this economy. I do not know of any others, but I would keep trying him to see if you can help him out. Giving local businesses all the support we can during this economy is vital.

DON'T DO IT... Reconsider. John Murphy (The Curb Guy) might have done great work in the past, but I'm afraid this is no longer the case. I paid him over $150 to paint 2 curbs in May 2008. So far neither curb has been started! I have called his cell phone, home, and even been to his home for a refund - NO LUCK. I should have known better, it's not a good sign when someone asked for money up front, cashes the check and puts you on a 3 month waiting list. If you don't believe me, check the Better Business Bureau for "The Curb Guy". He has a rating of F, (Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of F on a scale from A+ to F). It would seem I am not the only unsatisfied customer. I understand he may have extenuating circumstances and I'm sympathetic to whatever his situation, but after 19 months of no work or even a phone call - I think it's called "theft"...

Yikes! I had no idea this was his recent business procedure....He was always a good and decent person to do business with, and quite talented...sorry to hear this is now the situation.
Mike, I hope you get your curbs done - one way or the other!

Watching a baseball game: It's the ultimate father, son experience

The sun had finally popped out from behind the puffy clouds. The small crowd in the stands was slowly expanding, eventually growing to almost 100 spectators. On the field, the players were being introduced by the man in the press box, the one behind the microphone. Each received polite applause. Then the sun went behind another cloud, only to re-emerge a few minutes later. It would be that way most of the afternoon. But that was OK ... because it wasn't long before the umpire yelled, "Play ball!"
